During this process, the tiles are placed in a tumbling drum where the edges naturally chip and wear down, giving the stone its characteristic aged appearance. The tiles are then smoothed to remove any sharp edges while preserving the organic texture created during tumbling.

This process results in subtly rounded edges and a lightly textured surface that may include small pits and natural variation. These details are what give tumbled stone its distinctive charm, creating a surface that feels beautifully timeworn and authentic.
